Pre-Treatment Instructions
3 days before - discontinue exfoliation/retinols/retinoids/AHA’s/BHA’s
1 week prior - stay out of direct sunlight and wear an SPF 30 or higher. Sunburnt or tanned skin can be treated, however your facial will be focused on healing the skin. For facial waxing, you will need to wait two weeks after the sun burn has healed to reduce the risk of lifting the skin.
1 week prior - discontinue shaving & waxing
2 weeks prior - no Botox or Fillers
Waxing - must be off Accutane/similar medications for one year
You may receive the Soothing Facial or Regular Facials only while on Accutane - please disclose on your intake form so you may receive the best treatment possible, focusing on hydrating the skin
These facials are pregnancy/breast feeding safe
If you have an active cold sore, wait until it’s healed before booking your treatment
If you have an important event coming up, please schedule your treatment 5 to 7 days prior
It’s important to note any medical conditions or medications (topical or oral) on your intake form, and/or if you are being treated by a physician for any conditions since they can impact how your skin reacts to a facial
Post-Treatment Instructions
Drink plenty of water. This helps keep your skin hydrated
Shower with warm water for a few days, hot water is irritating to to the skin
Day of treatment and for three days after:
Do not pick, pop, pull, scratch or squeeze your skin. If you experience flaking after your facial, do not pull it off. Allow the skin to fall off on its own
Change your pillowcase and towels the day of your treatment
Stay out of direct sunlight for 4-5 days (as much as possible), and be extra diligent about re-applying SPF 30+. Wear a hat if you cannot avoid direct sunlight. Start incorporating an SPF 30+ into your daily routine
Wait 2 days before wearing makeup
Wait 2 days before getting sweaty, no strenuous exercise
Wait 3 days before going to steam room, sauna, swimming pool or hot tub.
Wait 3 days to exfoliate, reincorporate retinol, alpha hydroxy acids, and salicylic acid into your routine. If you have a stinging/burning reaction, wait a few more days. Exfoliation after waxing is beneficial to prevent ingrown hairs and breakouts
Wait 1 week before waxing after your facial
Wash your hands before touching your face. Wipe down your phone and glasses (anything that touches your face) often
Dermaplaning/Peels/Hydrodermabrasion
Pre-Treatment Instructions
3 days before - discontinue exfoliation/retinols/retinoids/AHA’s/BHA’s and benzoyl peroxides
1 week prior - stay out of direct sunlight and wear an SPF 30 or higher. Sunburnt or tanned skin cannot be treated. You will need to wait two weeks after your burn has healed to receive these treatments.

It is not advised to go on sunny trips such as beach vacations or skiing/snowboarding for at least one week after these treatments
Dermaplaning & Hydrodermabrasion is not suitable for those with moderate to severe rosacea and acne, or extremely sensitive skin. Peels are not suitable for those with with moderate to severe rosacea, severe acne, or extremely sensitive skin
Dermaplaning & Hydrodermabrasion are pregnancy/breast feeding safe. Peels are not.

Microneedling/Microchanneling
Pre-Treatment Instructions
You cannot receive microneedling or microchaneling if you are pregnant/breast feeding, have diabetes, lupus, scleroderma, HIV/AIDS, collagen vascular diseases, are on blood thinners or have a blood clotting disorders, have moderate to severe acne or rosacea, have a history of keloid scars (thick/raised scars above the skin) or are undergoing chemotherapy or immunotherapy
6 to 12 months - Must be off Accutane or similar medications
30 Days Prior - No laser resurfacing, microdermabrasion, or other intensive treatments
One week prior - must be off all antibiotics, oral and topical, discontinue all prescription creams including steroid and retinoid creams
3 Days Prior:
Stay out of direct sunlight. Sun burnt or tanned skin cannot receive these treatments. You will need to wait four weeks after your burn has healed to receive these treatments.
Discontinue all exfoliation products, no AHAs/BHAs, retinols or benzoyl peroxide
If you have an active cold sore, wait until it’s healed before booking your treatment
If you have an important event coming up, schedule microneedling/microchaneling two to three weeks prior
It’s important to note any medical conditions or medications (topical or oral) on your intake form as these can affect how you react to the treatment
Bring a clean hat to your microneedling treatment if possible
It is not advised to go on sunny trips such as beach vacations or skiing/snowboarding for two weeks after microneedling.
Post-Treatment Instructions
Drink plenty of water. This helps keep your skin hydrated and aids in the healing process
Avoid heat such as opening ovens, hot stove tops, and hot showers for a few days. Wait until the following day to shower, using lukewarm water
Change your pillowcase and towels the day of your treatment
Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your face. Wipe down your phone, glasses (anything that touches your face) often
Plan to stay inside for the remainder of the day after microneedling. You may go about the rest of your day after microchanneling.
Avoid direct sun exposure for 14 days after microneedling & 7 days after microchanneling. Day to day activities are okay, but please do not plan outdoor excursions for two weeks for microneedling and one week for microchanneling (hiking, skiing, snowboarding, sunny destinations, etc.).
Wait 4-5 days to use your own skincare products. I will provide you with at-home care products to use. This will ensure you have the best results possible.
It is normal for skin to flake/lightly peel after microneedling. Do not to pick or pull at the flaking skin, you will risk scarring/pigment changes. Let the skin fall off on it’s own. Do not pick/pop/squeeze at the skin after microneedling.
Apply SPF 30+ when you go outside. Reapply SPF every 3 hours. It’s recommended to wear hat for two weeks.
Wait 4-5 days before wearing makeup after microneedling, and 3 days after microchanneling. Make sure makeup brushes have been cleaned within the last week
Wait 3 days before getting sweaty after microneedling, no strenuous exercising
Wait 7 days before going to steam room, sauna, swimming pool or hot tub after microneedling, and 5 days after microchaneling
Wait 7 days to use any active ingredients such as retinol, alpha hydroxy acids, benzoyl peroxide, hydroquinone, prescription creams and salicylic acid into your routine after microneedling and 5 days for microchaneling. If you have a stinging/burning reaction, wait a few more days.
You may use a very fine/gentle physical exfoliant after 5 days, be gentle on your skin
Wait 2 weeks before waxing
Wait 30 days before any professional exfoliation treatment such as laser, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasions, and a follow up microneedling treatment unless advised otherwise after microneedling, and two weeks for microchanneling
Aftercare instructions:
For the first 24 hours: only use provided balm and apply as needed with clean hands. Wear a hat if you need to go outside and avoid facing the sun. You may apply spf after 12 hours if you need to go outside after microneedling. You can use SPF right away after microchanneling, you do not need to wait 12 hours.
After 24 hours:
- Cleanse with provided tonic, applying a small amount onto a cotton pad or gauze and gently wiping the skin
- Apply provided serum, followed by provided moisturizer
- Morning - follow moisturizer with provided SPF and use balm as needed. Be sure to reapply SPF every couple hours
- Evening - follow moisturizer with balm instead of SPF
- Repeat this routine 2 times daily for 4 to 5 days or until provided homecare products run out, then return to your normal routine with the exception of the products mentioned above.
